In the past few months, project partner Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship started collecting the needed data in the local environment and conducting a personal survey of local food producers, in order to create an appropriate database of local supply chains of Maribor with rural hinterland and key data on providers, quantities of local and processed vegetables, fruits and other products, semi-products and raw materials. The collected data provide the basis for the creation of the modern InnoRural's online marketplace and modern mobile phone application.

More than 200 people participated in the Sustainable Fashion Week organized by the European project MARES de Madrid on the 23rd, 24th, 25th and 28th of October. The main objective of this event was to promote sustainable fashion, also known as “slow fashion”, as an alternative for one of the world’s most polluting industries.

CORE talks about the future

In January, the first CORE “Future Talk” took place at the CORE Centre and with the focus on Hamburg’s best practice models in the field of labour market integration of the refugees. Beate Spyrou, the representative of Hamburg’s Chamber of Crafts and the project manager of Hamburg’s IQ Netzwerk, gave a presentation about Hamburg’s approach to integrating refugees into the labour market.
