TMaaS launches Open Call for Replicator Cities worldwide

Short description
TMaaS launched a call for cities worldwide to submit their applications to join the TMaaS Replicator City Programme. In this programme, which will launch this autumn, three selected cities will have the opportunity to work with the TMaaS team on the creation of their own local TMaaS dashboard and tackle mobility problems in their city. Thanks to the Replicator City Programme the TMaaS team will be able to share the knowledge and experience of cloud-based mobility management for cities that it acquires during the project with other cities, and it will also be able to take up the challenge of testing the dashboard in an environment that may be completely different from the situation in Ghent.

Project : SASMob - Smart Alliance for Sustainable Mobility

In her first journal of the SASMob project, UIA expert Zsuszana Kravalik looks into the change of mobility culture that is currently being attempted in Szeged, Hungary. While the city itself has undergone infrastructural modifications in the past years, with bicycles and public transport services being particularly enhanced, the city remains restless in achieving sustainable mobility goals by pulling passengers from private and individual means of transport to public and communal ones.

Within the Applause project, Studio tipoRenesansa is focused on production of wooden letters for relief printing. Along with lead letters, wooden type was traditionally used for printing for more than 500 years. Although printing with movable type was invented in Europe, upon its decline in the 2nd half of 20th Century the majority of wood type production knowledge was lost, very much so in Slovenia.
