Studio Noord is the headquarters of Noordvoerder. They are here every Wednesday afternoon.
Studio Noord originated from the Forwart project. Together with WonenBreburg, partners from the cultural sector and young people, R-Newt transformed the old pub into a cultural meeting place. It is now the workshop and meeting place for young people from all over the neighborhood. An ideal place for young people from the neighborhood to discover and develop their talents.
Approachable
The studio is located in a visible place and that is exactly how Chiara Riborch, project leader from R-Newt envisioned it. "We want it to be an approachable place for the young people here. It's a space without rules." Okay, there is one rule: Everything in the studio happens in the context of art and culture. "For art and culture, you often have to be downtown," she says.
Young people in Tilburg Noord also walk around with creative ideas, but they sometimes lack networking. "That's why there was a need for a place like this. Young people get the chance here to come into contact with other creators, who can give them just that push to make their idea come true. Above all, it should be a place where young people from Tilburg Noord can come together."
