Christmas tree made out of wood of invasive trees

CHRISTMAS TREE MADE OUT OF WOOD OF INVASIVE TREES
As part of the APPLAUSE project, we have made wooden tree from invasive alien plants.

The conceptual design of the tree was contributed by TRAJNA, association for the development of sustainable design, and produced at the Department of Wood Science at the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana. The base of the tree, the spacers between the branches, and the sphere at the top are made of the wood of black locust, while the branches are made of the wood of honey locust. The pendants are made of different types of invasive alien tree species.
