Short description
Removed invasive alien plants in Slovenia are currently composted or incinerated, but in the pilot project of processing Japanese knotweed into paper at the semi-industrial level, we have already demonstrated that these plants can be used for other purposes as well.
At the exhibition, we present the Ljubljana’s innovative story of invasive alien plants issue solving. As part of it, the activities of the project APPLAUSE are also presented, all with the purpose to actively involve as many stakeholders as possible.
The exhibition will be on display from the 11 April 2018 until the 3 May 2018 in the Glass atrium of the City Hall in Ljubljana.
The exhibition is also one of the EU Green Week 2018 events.
