What are the urgent challenges in urban transitions/transformations? What are the ‘hardest cases’ in the European urban mission? What and how are they defined by different communities and stakeholders? JPI Urban Europe needs your help to shape the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for 2020 and beyond.
The Joint Programming Initiative for Urban Europe is an instrument which was launched by the European Commission in 2010 to address global urban challenges of today with the ambition to develop a European research and innovation hub on urban matters and to create European solutions by means of coordinated research. A Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) was developed to identify and agree on research priorities and define joint implementation measures. The SRIA thus aims to consider the diversity of urban and regional research and innovation needs across Europe.
This year, the JPI Urban Europe is conducting a process to update its Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda. Their mission is to provide robust evidence for urban decision makers, and all urban practicioners from across Europe are warmly invited to contribute.
