Budapest Applicant Seminar

Budapest
UIA will hold an Applicant Seminar in Budapest on 26 January 2017. Registrations for this event are now closed.

The second Call for Proposals has been launched on 16th of December 2016 and is dedicated to three topics: Integration of migrants and refugees, Circular economy and Urban mobility.

In this framework, the UIA Initiative will hold an Applicant Seminar in Budapest on the 26 January 2017 in order to support applicants interested in applying for the  second Call.

During the seminar, participants will be introduced to the main principles and criteria of UIA projects with the possibility to interact with 2 representatives of UIA projects selected within the first Call for Proposals. Detailed information will also be provided on the eligibility rules for urban authorities as well as on the selection process and the main information to be included in the Application Form.

Registrations to the UIA Applicant Seminar are now closed, but you can download the agenda of the day on this page. Please note that there are 200 seats available for this event and priority will be given to urban authorities, as they are the main beneficiaries of the UIA.  One person per organisation will be accepted.

The UIA Applicant seminar will be followed (16h/18h) by an Urban Development Network (UDN) Feedback Session on UIA project ideas where interested urban authorities will have the opportunity to exchange with representatives of the European Commission, external experts and members of the Permanent Secretariat on their project ideas. However, as there are  limited seats for the UDN Feedback Session (max 20), interested urban authorities are requested to fill in an online survey to briefly describe the project idea and the main challenges encountered, in order for the Commission to select the participants.
