The third Call for Proposals was launched on 15 December 2017 is dedicated to four topics: Air quality, Adaptation to climate change, Housing, Jobs & Skills in the local economy.

In this framework, the UIA Initiative is holding an Applicant Seminar in Zagreb on 23 January 2018 in order to support applicants interested in applying for the third Call.

During the seminar, participants will be introduced to the main principles and criteria of UIA projects with the possibility to interact with representatives of UIA projects selected within the first Call for Proposals and hear their testimony. Detailed information will also be provided on the eligibility rules for urban authorities as well as on the selection process and the main information to be included in the Application Form.

During the second part of the day, individuals consultations will be organised between participants who would have registered for it and members of the UIA Secretariat and from DG REGIO. The objective is to get an initial feedback and recommendations on their proposal. Please note that no advice related thematic expertise will be provided during these consultations, and that the consultations will mainly focus on the project’s consistency with the Initiative’s objectives. Seats are limited for this session so please register in advance via the event registration form, and make sure you have received a confirmation from the UIA Secretariat.

You can download the draft agenda of the day on this page. Please note that priority will be given to urban authorities, as they are the main beneficiaries of the UIA. Up to two people (maximum) per organisation will be accepted.
